Hey there;
It has been well over a month since I last posted and I knew things would slow down, what with a trip with my partner and more than doubling my work shifts – but I didn’t expect this.
So first off I would like to apologise for not posting, and second of all, I’d like to discuss where my thinking is going for this blog.
While this isn’t a huge blog, with only a few posts I’m very proud of it so far and I would like to see it continue to grow, with University, work, and other responsibilities looming in the not too distant future now is a good time for me to figure out how I can juggle everything. So breaking down what my week will look like roughly :
- 3 days spent in uni (As far as I know one day will be a half-day but…)
- 3 days at work
- 1 day off
Not a whole lot of time, when you add in socialising, time to relax and unwind, let alone sleeping and studying, it seems almost ridiculous putting extra pressure for this blog, but I’ve only been really trying for a short time, and since I rededicated it and began focussing on it, it’s grown, so I’m not prepared to give it up.
So, the question remains – how am I going to achieve this? It may change but from my current perspective, taking time whenever I can to pre-write posts and schedule them for once (twice ideally but I’m being realistic) a week.
What I would like to do is aim for two posts a week, but ideally, have a third or maybe fourth post written and saved so that if I fall behind I have a backup of posts I can rely on to ensure that my blog doesn’t go a month with no activity again.
Now I haven’t completely forgotten about my Learning Tarot or Summer of Divination, I have been pulling cards for myself and my partner over the past month.
The only downside is I didn’t write any of it down and such, I have multiple tabs open on my phone, of the cards I have pulled, but aside from maybe the first two days, I didn’t write down whether they were upright or reversed, or if it was for me or my partner.
So instead I’ll do a number of posts covering the cards I have on my phone, and typing them up and having them as backup posts. I think I would rather re-start with the whole learning Tarot – or not re-start, continue. following Lammas/Lughnasadh on August 1st as it’s a new month – so a new start.
I’ll be posting a pre-Lughnasadh info-dump and plans in the next few days and an update after the fact. Shocker I know, I actually have something semi-planned for a Sabbat.
Now to finish off, I am thinking about doing my posts on Tuesday’s around midday. That might change depending on the response, my timetable once uni starts etc, but until then Tuesdays will be the standard once-a-week day, although I’m hoping I’ll have a few other posts to add throughout the week as well.
I think that is everything for now.
I hope your day is as pleasant as you.
Luna
